Intramuscular injections should be made deep into the fleshy part of the muscle such as the neck. Subcutaneous injections should be administered in the neck region.
Following administration, temporary localized swelling may be observed at the site of injection for several days. This is due to the high concentration and long acting effect of the product.
ALAMYCIN LA Injectable Solution should be warmed to body temperature prior to administration.
If clinical improvement is not observed after 48 hours, clinical re-evaluation may be required. In non-responsive cases, consideration may be given to the use of an alternative antibiotic.
