INDICATION
Oxytetracycline is an antimicrobial agent that is effective in the treatment of a wide range of diseases caused by susceptible gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, rickettsia, and mycoplasma, like respiratory, intestinal, dermatological, genitourinary, and septicemic infections in cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, etc.

COMPOSITION

Each ml contains: Oxytetracycline HCL equivalent to oxytetracycline 50mg/100mg /125mg

Each ml contains oxytetracycline 50mg/200mg /300mg

Description

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

By intramuscular injection.

Cattle, sheep, goats, and pigs: 10-20mg/kg body weight.

ADVERSE REACTION

Tetracyclines may cause renal tubular necrosis at high doses, but this is rare with recommended doses. Tetracyclines can affect bone and teeth formation in young animals. Hepatoxicity may occur at high doses in susceptible individuals. Oxytetracycline administration to horses has been associated with colic and diarrhea.

SPECIAL WARNINGS

Do not use for liver and kidney dysfunction animals.

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD

Meat: 28 days; Milk: 7 days

Keep out of reach of children.
